Objectives of the Course
To utilize the possibilities and means of sociology in collective researches and examinations; to provide information about the methods and analyzes to be used in research on multiculturalism and cohabitation.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Has knowledge about sociology's research and research areas and knows culture concept and cultural basic approaches PO-1 1. Can understand the basic concepts regarding the sociology programs.
PO-4 4. Can have the skills to define, model and solve the sociological problems in the field of Sociology and related fields.
PO-9 9. Are able to express themselves in verbal and written communication having the ability to work individually, take initiatives and make their own decisions.
Examination
LO-2 Interpret the theoretical debates about the relationship between factors such as structures, actors, institutions and culture in global politics, and identify the continuities and changes in the basic dynamics of the international system. PO-3 3. Can develop creative, resourceful in terms of conducting sociological analysis and equipped with the communication and social skills necessary to take part in team work.
PO-5 5. Can dedicate to improve themselves by keeping abreast of the developments in science, technology and modern topics.
PO-10 10. Can have the professional and ethical responsibility in the process of the collection, evaluation and implementation of the data in the field of study and publishing the results.
Examination
LO-3 Bölgesel ve küresel konuları/sorunları tanımlayabilir, kanıtlara ve araştırmalara dayalı çözüm önerileri geliştirebilir. PO-2 2.Can transfer and adapt what they have acquired in the field of Sociology to other disciplines.
PO-7 7. Can use the modern techniques and devices necessary for the current practices in the field of Sociology.

The aim of this course is to introduce the aimed students to multicultural politics in the global community formed by modern national states and to present the general aspects and policies of multiculturalism.
