Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain academic reading, writing and speaking skills.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the English terms and concepts of Psychology. PO-
LO-2 Knows the Turkish equivalents and usage of major English concepts in basic fields such as Learning Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Developmental Psychology. PO-
LO-3 Can understand English texts in the field. PO-
LO-4 Can comprehend the academic speech s/he listens. PO-
LO-5 Can write a summary of an article read in English. PO-

Course Contents
This course, which is a continuation of the Professional English I course, includes the acquisition of critical reading techniques and essay writing skills. It also includes practicing at stages such as determining the structure of a reading text, extracting the main idea and important points of the text or situation, and writing the summary.
