Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide the knowledge and skills of industrial robot programming and maintenance.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can explain the principles of industrial automation. PO-12 Have knowledge about the design, manufacture and operation of energy systems
PO-15 Makes the design, installation, maintenance-repair of electrical control systems and systems with programmable controllers.
PO-25 Have knowledge about the places where control and automation systems are used. Can design control and automation systems according to the needs.
Examination
LO-2 can comprehend machine and production automation principles and design. PO-12 Have knowledge about the design, manufacture and operation of energy systems
PO-13 Analyzes a system, system component or process in the field of energy and applies modern design methods to meet the desired needs when necessary.
PO-15 Makes the design, installation, maintenance-repair of electrical control systems and systems with programmable controllers.
PO-17 Can choose the appropriate sensor or transducer for the need and use it in industrial applications.

Industrial automation principles, machine and production automation; advanced topics in pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems and the design of these systems; principles of industrial robots and their role in industrial automation; mobile robots, robot arms; design issues in industrial automation and robotics; case studies.
