Objectives of the Course
The aim of the Behavioral Sciences course is to examine the psychological and sociological aspects of human behavior, interpersonal interactions in small groups and the effects of these characteristics on business life.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can obtain information about the basic features of human behavior in the social and business environment of the students. PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life.
PO-4 Interprets and evaluates data, defines and analyzes problems, and develops evidence-based solution proposals by using knowledge and skills related to contemporary dentistry.
PO-8 She/he has knowledge of moral, ethical and legal responsibilities related to the dentistry profession and sets an example to her colleagues and society with her/his professional identity by using this information.
PO-9 Follows professional rules and laws, has professional behavior awareness, examines national and international policies and practices related to oral and dental health and evaluates possible results.
PO-12 It carries out professional practices focused on patient rights and human values, in accordance with ethical rules and professional responsibility awareness.
PO-14 With the awareness of being a physician, it carries out initiatives and practices that prioritize the general health of the society and individuals it serves, including itself, and improve their health status, raise awareness and guide the patient on these issues, apart from dental treatments.
PO-15 It is sufficient to raise the oral health of groups, families and individuals in the society to a high level.
Examination
LO-2 can explain behavioral Sciences and what is contributing to the field of science and historical development, PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life.
PO-8 She/he has knowledge of moral, ethical and legal responsibilities related to the dentistry profession and sets an example to her colleagues and society with her/his professional identity by using this information.
PO-9 Follows professional rules and laws, has professional behavior awareness, examines national and international policies and practices related to oral and dental health and evaluates possible results.
PO-10 It makes a differential diagnosis, preliminary diagnosis or definitive diagnosis by correlating clinical and radiological examination and other diagnostic tests, and findings in the patient's history, taking into account the social and ethnic history of the patients.
PO-12 It carries out professional practices focused on patient rights and human values, in accordance with ethical rules and professional responsibility awareness.
Examination
LO-3 Can communicate correctly with issues that can lead to conflict such as culture, cultural differences, change and resistance to change. PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life.
PO-8 She/he has knowledge of moral, ethical and legal responsibilities related to the dentistry profession and sets an example to her colleagues and society with her/his professional identity by using this information.
PO-9 Follows professional rules and laws, has professional behavior awareness, examines national and international policies and practices related to oral and dental health and evaluates possible results.
