Objectives of the Course | |||||
Procedures to be performed before starting restorative dental treatment, enamel and dentin adhesion, classification of adhesives, clinical indications and applications, classification of indirect aesthetic restorations, construction techniques, advantages and disadvantages of composite and ceramic inlays, restoration of laminate veneers and endodontically treated teeth, post applications, tooth discoloration and To give information about the etiology and treatment of dentin hypersensitivity. |

LO-1 | Can list the procedures to be done before starting the restorative dental treatment. |
PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life. PO-5 As a 'Dentist' who has the ability to work individually, he/she makes decisions regarding treatment by using the relevant diagnostic methods, can take initiative, and expresses his/her professional ideas verbally or in writing, clearly and concisely. PO-6 She/he uses all kinds of tools to ensure the oral and dental health required by the dentistry profession and has sufficient knowledge about the materials used in dentistry clinics. |

Basic concepts of adhesion, aesthetic restorative techniques applied to posterior teeth and indirect aesthetic restorations, direct and semi-direct techniques in composite inlays, advantages and disadvantages of composite and ceramic inlays, direct and indirect veneer techniques, composite and porcelain laminate veneers, restoration of endodontically treated teeth, treatment planning and clinical applications of fiber reinforced post systems, tooth discoloration and dentin hypersensitivity | ||
