Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to enable students to acquire basic skills necessary for translation from English to Turkish through analysis, discussion and practice with a variety of texts.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can translate English texts into Turkish at intermediate level PO-5 Know at least one foreign language at level A2 Europe Language Portfolio.

LO-2 can express himself/herself in English language at intemediate level. PO-7 They can use the foreign language knowledge acquired at school and internship.

LO-3 can have a wider knowledge about the intermediate structures in English language PO-6 They can easily apply the theoretical and practical knowledge in the sector that they gained at school and internship .
PO-24 They acquire the capabilities to present a subject fluently.

LO-5 can understand types of clauses in English. PO-14 They introduce the cultural and geographical characteristics pf visited religions in the cultural tours to groups by the leadership.
PO-16 They specialize in various religious beliefs, mythology, art history and archaeology and they transferred this information to domestic and foreign tourists during the introduction of their country.

LO-6 can acquire knowledge about terminology in tourism. PO-9 Their contact force is high and they adapt to team work.
PO-12 They know applications like tour planning, tour operator and operation management, counseling services that organized in the travel agencies, and take an active role in these applications.
PO-13 They get detailed information all the historical sites and touristic places of Turkey.
