Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to enable students to acquire basic skills necessary for translation from Turkish to English through analysis, discussion and practice with a variety of texts.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can translate Turkish texts into English at intermediate level PO-5 Know at least one foreign language at level A2 Europe Language Portfolio.

LO-2 can express himself/herself in English language at intemediate level. PO-6 They can easily apply the theoretical and practical knowledge in the sector that they gained at school and internship .

Various translation methods and techniques, translation in social sciences, phrases, collocations; translating a variety of different genre of authentic English texts into Turkish.
