Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to provide knowledge and skills for teaching the content of chemistry, the historical development and current quality of chemistry in science education. |

PO-4 An MA student produces new results by combining his/her fields knowledge with the knowledge he gained from the other fields. Chemistry outcomes and basic chemistry concepts in science teaching programs, knowledge levels of chemistry (macro-submicro-symbolic) and its importance in science teaching, planning, method, and material use in the teaching of basic chemistry concepts and chemistry skills in science education, awareness for the career areas of chemistry in science education, outlines of philosophy of chemistry and its importance in chemistry teaching, philosophical and historical foundations of chemistry, basic disciplines of chemistry as a central science, relationships of chemistry with technology and society, chemistry skills and importance in the fields of industry, use of chemistry history in science teaching (chemists and inventions from western and Turkish-Islamic scientific world). | ||
