Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to provide the student with the ability to write, pronounce and analyze medical terms correctly and to create an infrastructure for other topics of medicine, so that the student can better understand the subject. |

PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life. PO-2 She/he applies the basic medical and science knowledge she has learned in both clinical and laboratory studies and has problem solving skills. |

PO-9 Follows professional rules and laws, has professional behavior awareness, examines national and international policies and practices related to oral and dental health and evaluates possible results. PO-11 Follows and evaluates publications at international level, applies their results and evidence-based dentistry in their studies. PO-13 It performs preventive dentistry practices in the clinic, as well as participates in community-oriented oral and dental health programs and projects to be planned at local or national level, and when necessary, it acquires adequate equipment and supervises or manages it. |
