Course Contents |
This course is an introduction to biochemistry, energy production and vitality, protein chemistry, the structure and mechanism of action of enzymes, classification of enzymes, enzyme kinetics, vitamins, carbohydrate chemistry, carbohydrate metabolism, oxidative phosphorylation, lipid chemistry, lipid metabolism, nucleotides, synthesis and regulation of proteins, hormones It covers the explanation of acid-base balance and the functions of minerals. |
