Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach the situation of cattle and small cattle breeding in Turkey, its importance in terms of human nutrition, breeding techniques and the basic elements of a profitable breeding.

The students who succeeded in this course:

Course Contents
This course covers the definition of cattle, buffalo, sheep and goats, the status of livestock in the world and in Turkey, cattle, sheep, goat and horse breeds and their classification according to appearance, fleece, milk and meat production.
