The purpose is to represent statistics and teach the basic concepts and techniques of statistics. Introducing the necessary tools to implement statistical methods and develop further the understanding of assumptions and limitations. Introducing the necessary tools to implement statistical methods in health area. |

IDefinition of statistics, history and importance, basic concepts of statistics, definition and types of variables, measurement of variables and determination of appropriate measurement level, Evaluation of data, representation of data with graphics and tables, measures of central tendency and distribution. includes mean, median, mode and variance in frequency distributions. It also includes survey method, probability, fundamental distributions, sampling, Z and t statistics, confidence intervals, hypothesis tests, correlation coefficients, Chi-square analysis, Analysis of variance, Regression analysis. | ||
