Objectives of the Course | |||||
It is aimed to provide students with the ability to evaluate the field of health from a sociological perspective by transferring the basic approaches and theories of health sociology, which has developed as a sub-discipline of sociology. |

The development of medicine in the historical process, body image and the role of medicine in the construction of the body, the birth and development of the Sociology of Health, the concepts of health and disease and the transformations in the definition of the concepts, the pioneers of the field and theoretical approaches, socio-cultural and socio-economic factors affecting health and disease, health It includes the social structure of the organization. | ||
