Objectives of the Course | |||||
This course will provide a conceptual introduction to gender issues in areas such as cultural, political, and social life. Issues such as inequality, patriarchy, representation in political life will be discussed in different frameworks. With a historical analysis, how gender differences emerged and evolved will be analyzed. |

Course Contents | ||
The course deals with examining the connection points between the discipline of International Relations and Gender Politics. The general content of the course consists of the expansions of the concept of gender, which is not considered within the scope of the established theoretical perspectives in the discipline of International Relations, as a variable that cuts across the national, regional and international planes, in terms of international politics, and the policy recommendations pointed out by these expansions. | ||
