Objectives of the Course
With the attempt to comprehend the theory of populism in detail, it is to ensure that the left and right, religious and authoritarian forms of populism are read from a comparative political perspective through the examples of country and party/movement/leader.

Course Contents
Throughout this course, basic concepts of political theory such as people, sovereignty, hegemony, polarization, collective identity, representation, liberal democracy, authoritarianism, freedom, equality, early populist movements, classical populism in Latin America, neoliberal populism, left populism, extreme right, neo-fascist populism, religious populism will be studied through examples.
