Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to help students learn the basic concepts and approaches related to human physical, emotional, social and cognitive development, and to help them understand and explain individuals in accordance with their developmental stages as well as the characteristics and problems encountered during their developmental stages. |

Introduction of developmental psychology and its subjects; basic problems of development; basic concepts of development; methods in developmental psychology; developmental theories; the concept of childhood; fertilization; prenatal development; birth process; development in infancy; early childhood development; development in the preschool period; development at school age; cognitive development; personality development and social development in preschool period; development at school age; development in adolescence; adulthood and old age are discussed. | ||
