Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the concepts of "Westernization" and "Enlightenment" and to interpret 18th century Russian architecture, Russian painting and Russian theatre.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can recognize important landmarks of 18th century Russian architecture. PO-10 Students do research and analysis in the field of Russian language, literature, culture and history.

This course includes the effects of Russian Westernization and Enlightenment on Russian culture, especially in the period of Peter I and Catherine II.
