Objectives of the Course
The student will be able to explain the changes in work life and organisations during the transformation to industrial society, comment on reasons of increasing industrialization with technological progress and it’s effects on today’s societies and labor force.

Course Contents
During the courses cases like, the change in specilization process with technological progress; the reasons, specialities and effects of industrialization; the relationship between social structure and industrial organizations, social organizations formed by work groups, the roles of worker in the work life, unions, the structure of work groups will be discussed. The lesson’s contents include; pre and post industrial social relationships and approaches through a historical view; with examining the problems that industrialization carry, looking at the work cases through industrialized and non-industrialized societies; today’s problems of the industry; the roles and expectations of blue collar workers in industrial relationships; the historical developpement and of industy in Turkey and the place it holds today.
