Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to gain the ability to determine the quality of educational music, in other words its type, to define and separate the musical, technical and educational elements that make up educational music, to reveal the relations between educational music elements and the principles of arrangement of these relations, and to determine the relations between other educational music. |

Introducing educational music and educational music composers. Classification of educational music by genres. Explaining the concept and scope of analyzing educational music. Determining the steps of analyzing the musical and technical elements of educational music. Analysis of selected samples from verbal and instrumental educational music according to the determined steps. To comprehend the aims of educational music in general, enthusiastic and vocational music education processes. Analysis of educational music according to the type and level of music education. Determining the strengths and weaknesses of educational music samples in general music education textbooks by analyzing them according to educational purposes. Analysis of educational music samples composed for students' individual instruments. | ||
