Objectives of the Course
This course has the following aims: Acquire knowledge and understanding of the reading skills to enable the students to read and become fluent readers. Strengthen one’s ability to interview, to give feedback, to gather information and to organize data for reporting. Initiate needed shifts from the traditional to holistic modes of reading instruction for effective and meaningful classroom interaction.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 analyze different types of paragraphs to evaluate texts in terms of comparison- contrast, cause and effect and problem- solution patterns. PO-3 To have problem solving skills to compete with the problems due to the cultural and lingual differences
