Objectives of the Course | |||||
The main purpose of the course is to obtain knowledge and training of the various language characteristics, concepts, information in field of social sciences, and their implications for translation (in terms of cultural differences, content, word choice, text function, syntactic patterns, information structure, etc.). Objective of the course could be described as such: To familiarize the students with the proprietary use of language in various areas of social sciences and business administration, as well as providing them with a sound knowledge of relevant jargon & terminology. |
