Objectives of the Course
In this course, the main myths and legends of Ancient Greece and Rome, having had a deep influence on the Western civilization, are studied. The students focus on Ancient Greek and Roman deities and heroes, the functions of these characters and the reflection of these characters on Western art, culture and literature.
