Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is to teach translation of the business language and texts in English and Turkish with special emphasis on the technical terms from economics, management, banking, commerce, insurance, and business law. In this course, format, style and expressions in the texts related to economics, commerce and banking will be taught.

LO-1 learn the terminology and concepts of the texts PO-1 To be able to make interdisciplinary research within the field
PO-5 Not to swerve from the proffesional and ethic responsibilities
PO-6 To be able to provide cooperation with the related sectors
PO-12 To easily be attuned to the current changes in the sector
PO-13 To have the abilities to orientate and transform the expectations of the sector
PO-14 To have a wide knowledge of terminologies of specific fields in both languages
PO-15 To be able to have knowledge of the terminology of various fields (Science, Social and Health Sciences etc.) and being able to use second foreign language and English both as a source and a target language
PO-16 To be able to identify the problems that may be encountered in the translation process and developing appropriate strategies to overcome these problems
Examination
