Objectives of the Course
As the continuation of Current issues 1 course, the main purpose of this course is to make students reach in-depth information about their fields by tracing the current issues they learn previously. In this course, students are expected to keep track of current issues related to their field, discuss these issues and improve proposal for the solution of these issues.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can improve their translation skills by analyzing current events PO-4 To be able to think analiytically
PO-10 To be able to translate at least two languages and be able to read, understand, analyze and translate basic texts in a third language
PO-11 To have efficent elocation, diction and self expression skills for a sufficient use of language
PO-14 To have a wide knowledge of terminologies of specific fields in both languages
PO-16 To be able to identify the problems that may be encountered in the translation process and developing appropriate strategies to overcome these problems
