Objectives of the Course
This course deals with principles of consecutive translation and aims to enhance students' skills in developing the basic vocabulary in a variety of subjects through the study of authentic conference texts. The course also includes exercises on special notetaking and memory techniques that enable students to render passages as long as 6-8 minutes faithfully and accurately.
