Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to give students an insight on the translation activities and translation approaches from the ancient times to the end of 20th century, to make them familiar with the notions and concepts of translation.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 learn the basic concepts of translation PO-2 To be able to have basic and specialized knowledge about the language and history of the cultures taught
PO-3 To have problem solving skills to compete with the problems due to the cultural and lingual differences
PO-4 To be able to think analiytically
PO-16 To be able to identify the problems that may be encountered in the translation process and developing appropriate strategies to overcome these problems
Examination
