Objectives of the Course |
This course introduces students to upper-intermediate and advanced-level syntax, grammar and lexicology through the comparison and contrast with Turkish and English. Translation practices based on the modules of covered materials, texts, vocabulary texts are designed from the pre-advanced and advanced levels with the aim of covering diversified and authentic materials. |

Course Contents |
The content of the contrastive syntax course covers the comparative analysis and study of sentence, paragraph and text structures of the source language and the target language, both in terms of structure and meaning.
