Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to point out to the students the connections and interactions between language and culture through the theories and methods of disciplines such as linguistic anthropology and sociolinguistics, and to lay the foundations of a more efficient translation process by revealing the cultural foundations of a language often encountered during translation.
