Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the cultural change of humanity from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages, together with social and political movements; To enable them to have general knowledge about the concept and approach of cultural history.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 will be able to question the concepts of "Biological Evolution" and "Cultural Evolution". PO-1 Students have the skills to transfer and use their knowledge of art and design in the field of interior architecture.

Course Contents
Prehistoric period, Sumerian and Egyptian art and cultural features, Assyrian and Persian period art and features, Ancient Chinese Period culture and its reflections in art, Ancient Greek art and cultural characteristics of the period, historical conditions, Hellenistic Art, Roman period and art, Byzantine Period and cultural transferring the reflections of its characteristics in art.
