Objectives of the Course
Students understood the development of built environments in history and understood how these developments affect the contemporary space organizations. In this context, students gain the basic knowledge about space organizations for draw their own designs

Course Contents
The period from the prehistoric period to the 19th century; The information and analyzes of the architectural structures built in these periods are conveyed. In this process, Paleolithic and Neolithic Period, Mesopotamia and Egypt; The spatial cultures of different periods and cultures before the 19th century, such as Ancient Greece, Persia, Rome, Early Christianity, Early Islam and Byzantium, are covered.
