Objectives of the Course
The pragmatic, semantical and syntactical evaluation of furniture observed in the period between the ancient ages and the 19th century, considering the period?s social, economic and political stances.

The students who succeeded in this course:

Course Contents
Paleolithic and Neolithic Period; Social structure and use of furniture in Babylon, Sumer and Akkad; Furniture styles in daily life in Egypt and Hittites; Chinese, Ancient Greek and Roman furniture; Transferring the history of social structure and furniture in the Baroque, Rococo and Classicism periods.
