Objectives of the Course
This course is a scientific preparation course that examines design history and design principles on a philosophical basis.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Student identifies general information about design history and philosophy. PO-1 Students have the skills to transfer and use their knowledge of art and design in the field of interior architecture.
PO-6 Students acquire professional and general culture knowledge.
PO-11 Students have knowledge of specialized design problems in the field of interior architecture.

Art and space related ideologies, approaches and their relations with thought; Reading and analyzing the writings of theorists such as Heidegger, John Berger, Adolf Loos, Peter Zumthor, Herman Hertzberger, Hegel, T. W. Adorno, who expressed their views on art and space.
