Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to comprehend and put into practice the concepts and processes related to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting of a research, to explore sources from libraries, to explore ways of using resources, to be able to read, criticize and use the results of published research in line with the research process.

Course Contents
This course covers the definition of research, the source of knowledge and science, the importance of research in nursing, data and features, measurement procedures and scales, analysis of causal relationships, types of research, stages of research, mistakes made in research, research planning, sampling methods, data collection methods, ethical rules in research. It includes preparing the data collection tool, analyzing the data, making tables and graphs, interpreting the prepared tables and graphs, and reporting the research.
