Objectives of the Course
The general purpose of Materials Science is to introduce the internal structure of materials, to investigate the relations between internal structures and properties, and to use the materials used in practice in the light of the basic principles and concepts developed in this way. is to examine the properties of material types by classifying them.

Course Contents
In this course, material types, material qualities, material-purpose relationship, metal materials, nonmetal materials, wood and other materials usage areas, material properties, material behavior, strength, physical and atomic structures of the material are examined.
