Objectives of the Course
It is to gain the protocol information to be used in the business world and social life, and to develop the ability to exhibit and apply this information as a behavior when working with people and institutions in communication at the appropriate place and time.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Understands the importance of protocol and social behavior rules. PO-19 Follow the technologic and scientific developments awarding of the requirement of lifelong learning and renew themselves regularly.

Course Contents
The historical development of social behavior and protocol rules and the importance of knowing and applying protocol rules in adapting to social life and business environment are explained. The importance of appearance and dressing, meeting and introduction, addressing and greeting, greeting and farewell are taught. Rules of conduct in the office and relations with superiors, protocol on the phone, appointment protocol, protocol in written communication, business negotiations and meeting protocol are explained. Official invitations, business dinners, giving gifts, sending flowers, thanking, and protocol rules applied in vehicles are also included in the course.
