Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain knowledge about the importance and scope of science activities in pre-school education and to design and implement activities that will develop scientific thinking in early childhood.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Gains knowledge about the importance of science activities in preschool. PO-3 Has knowledge and skills based on preschool education.

Course Contents
This course covers the definition and importance of science education in childhood; principles and standards in science education; science process skills; nature of science, teaching techniques and methods of science education concepts and scientific thinking skills; organization of learning centers in science education; science programs used in early childhood education (Wings of Discovery, Tool Kit for early childhood science education, Eller Hamurda); acquisition of basic science education concepts; Science activities include planning and implementation issues.
