Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to provide pre-school teacher candidates with knowledge and skills about the use of music in preschool education environments, music education methods and activities. |

Course Contents | ||
Within the scope of the course, the place and importance of music in pre-school education, basic concepts of music (music education), development of tonal sense, development of rhythmic perception, sound, tempo, rhythm, timbre), aims and principles of music education, development of musical skills in children, the relationship between music and its development areas, arranging the educational environment, the place of instruments in music activities, studies in pre-school music activities; listening and distinguishing sounds, rhythm exercises, breathing and singing, creative movement and dance, musical story, planning, implementation and evaluation of musical activities suitable for the preschool education program will be discussed. | ||
