Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is that teacher candidates; the definition of the play, the importance of the play, the effects of the play on the developmental areas, the stages of the play, the types of plays, toys, the use of the play in recognition and evaluation of children, and to enable them to prepare play activities according to different acquisitions and indicators suitable for the development of children.

Educational and developmental values of play in early childhood; using play as an effective teaching method in recognizing and evaluating the child; definition, importance, development, social role of the play, play theories, factors affecting the play, supporting the play, planning and application of play activities.
