Objectives of the Course
Violin:Skills reinforcing exercises, complex bow techniques and applications in the right hand, exercises involving different left hand skills on four strings. 1. Different fingering and acceleration exercises in position, mixed bow applications including four strings, development of detaché and legato techniques, staccato (interrupted playing) bow technique applications. Performing national and universal works that are suitable for the level covering technical and musical skills. Viola: Performing examples of Turkish and world composers' works with technical exercises and etudes in viola teaching; It aims to learn the viola in accordance with individual development, to be able to perform vocalization-interpretation with the literature specific to the instrument, and to gain the ability to perform activities in the field of music education with this instrument. Cello: Reinforcing the skills learned in the position, practicing complex bow techniques in the right hand, exercises involving different left hand skills on four strings and transitioning to a new position. Performing national and universal works in accordance with the level, covering various finger dropping and quickening exercises in the current location, applying the use of mixed bows covering four strings, developing detaché and legato techniques, basic information about vibrato, technical and musical skills.
