Objectives of the Course | |||||
To reveal different approaches to the definition of political science; to analyze the concepts of power, legitimacy, authority, state and democracy; to apply concepts and theories to concrete political institutions and processes. In this process, the rights and responsibilities of the individual and the state towards each other will be mentioned to the teacher candidates and active citizenship, which is one of the most basic dynamics of social studies education, will be emphasized. |

Course Contents | ||
The concept of power, which is the main working concept of the discipline of political science, will be examined by taking different meanings, forms and mechanisms as an example. Political approaches and models around the world will be mentioned. Their historical and social development processes will be emphasized . Within the scope of management approaches, the current constitutional order in our country will be discussed and contribution will be made to the conscious citizenship process. | ||
