Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course; To be able to comprehend society in the context of sociological discourse, to comprehend society and social change, types of society within the framework of sociological theories/approaches, and to understand the shaping of the phenomenon of education and the development of education in society both in terms of fact and institutional, and to enable students to question their life in this direction. |

This course covers the factors affecting the education and training process as a process, theories in the sociology of education, socialization and social functions of education, social change and alienation, school and class as a social system, school and class as a social system, school and class as a social system. The teaching profession covers topics such as social mobility, stratification and education, cultural foundations of education, globalization and educational problems of different countries. | ||
