Objectives of the Course
This course aims to enable students to be able to understand authentic English conversations, gain fluency in English speaking, develop various speaking styles, and develop their current knowledge through real-life visual, auditory and written materials.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 understand authentic English conversations. PO-8 Explain and apply the basic language skills in Turkish and English.
PO-9 Define and apply the approaches and methods in foreign language teaching.
PO-11 List, define and analyze current publications in the field.
PO-13 Develop materials that can be used in English language teaching, adapt and evaluate ready-made materials.
PO-14 Translate from English to Turkish or Turkish to English.
PO-15 Analyze and teach basic language skills.
