Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to develop knowledge and skills about the general concepts of the history of science, the effects of scientific developments on philosophical thought, and the social, political and economic factors underlying these developments.

This course covers the historical development of sciences and technology and the nature of approaches to science in the philosophy of science in the light of this development.
