Objectives of the Course | |||||
The objective of the course is to enable the students to develop their academic vocabulary considerably. To provide knowledge on lexeme as the most fundamental item of language as a system and different types of words and their usage in various contexts are among the other aims of the course. |

Relationship between lexical items and structural forms, word formation including prefixes and suffixes, idioms, collocations, slang, euphemisms, neologism, proverbs and phrasal verbs in spoken and written language. | ||
