Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with basic knowledge and experience about the social research process, which includes designing and conducting a scientific research on the social world and writing a research report. On the other hand, behind the basic concepts and problems we encounter in this process, there are debates that problematize the nature and knowledge of the social world and the claim, in other words, the status of the social sciences to be a science, from the emergence of the social sciences to the present. For this reason, this course should be envisaged as a compulsory course for all students who will receive education in the graduate program and these issues should be clarified.
