This course deals with regionalization and globalization as a whole on the basis of countries in the developing world. The course aims to explain how African, Latin American and Asian societies in the developing world live comparatively within the framework of basic political science and political economy concepts. While providing this, the course suggests that there are differences in how the societies in these countries perceive political concepts such as democracy, state collapse, military-civilian relations and human rights violations, and political economic concepts such as development, growth, globalization and neocolonialism, based on the fact that more than one hundred and fifty countries in total are referred to as the developing world. in progress. This course will consist of two main sections, politics and political economy, which will explain how the concepts described above differed on these countries, and a historical section on how the countries of the developing world emerged. As a result, this course aims to convey to students the current problems faced by the countries of the developing world and the societies living in these countries. In addition, this course aims to increase the number of regional studies to be carried out, especially regarding the countries in the developing world. | ||
