The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills about the basic concepts of educational technologies.

Relationship between education and technology, basic concepts, historical development of instructional technology in the world and in Turkey, projects for the use of instructional technologies in education in Turkey, technology and new literacy concepts, 21st century student characteristics, basic concepts of information and communication technologies, current information and communication technologies used in teaching environments, current instructional technology trends, media and tools used in the educational process, expected developments in information and communication technologies and their effects on teaching
