Objectives of the Course
To keep students on the agenda of scientific research that they are to nature, society, and human reality. In the framework of the morals of science, the scientist guides himself completely in the direction of science during his research; his personal beliefs do not allow them to deflect scientific results, whatever the benefits of his worldview.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 To be able to develop the skills of accessing, evaluating, interpreting and applying information in the field of engineering. PO-1 To be able to reach the theoretical and practical knowledge by doing scientific research in the field of Civil Engineering and to be able to use the obtained knowledge.
PO-2 To be able to carry out studies in the field of Civil Engineering, to be able to select and apply appropriate methods or methods for the purpose.
PO-9 Presents scientific research and application studies in written, oral and visual form to groups in and out of the field.
PO-11 To be aware of moral, legal, social and ethical values and to conduct scientific research and application studies within the scope of these values.

The content of this course includes: scientific research methods, scientific research planning, research problems, hypotheses and objectives, access to scientific information (library, scientific data collection and measurement methods, data analysis methods and presentation, research proposal writing, and research report preparation.
