Objectives of the Course
The aim of this academic activity is to provide students with the skills of how to prepare a scientific seminar, how to utilize computer software, and how to make a presentation. In addition, it is aimed at determining the objectives of the thesis study and creating a road map for the study.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can prepare a scientific research report. PO-1 To be able to reach the theoretical and practical knowledge by doing scientific research in the field of Civil Engineering and to be able to use the obtained knowledge.
PO-2 To be able to carry out studies in the field of Civil Engineering, to be able to select and apply appropriate methods or methods for the purpose.
PO-9 Presents scientific research and application studies in written, oral and visual form to groups in and out of the field.
PO-10 Uses information and communication technologies together with computer software or programmes at a level to meet the requirements related to the field.

Course Contents
The content of this course includes examining research samples, preliminary research, topic selection, determination of research methods, resource research, starting written text studies, working on the table of contents of the research, finalizing the text study, working on slide presentation design in a computer environment, completion of presentations, submission, and evaluation of written texts.
