Objectives of the Course | |||||
In this course, it is aimed to establish a conceptual basis on the basic features and patterns of qualitative research, to make the complex qualitative research process understandable with examples given in various studies, to gain information about types of technology-supported qualitative data analysis, and to gain an understanding of what qualitative research patterns can be in the field of mathematics education. |

This course covers the basic features of qualitative research, the principles and theoretical foundations of qualitative research methods, the establishment and design of a qualitative research hypothesis, qualitative research patterns, sample selection in qualitative research, data collection methods, data analysis processes, validity and reliability practices, asking questions and questioning. It includes the processes of creating forms, types of technology-supported qualitative data analysis and qualitative research methods used in mathematics education, literature research and discussion of articles on qualitative studies. | ||
